Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Evolution Engineering (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use SPHERES and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (or tokens from third-party identity providers such as GitHub or LinkedIn). If you join or create a company within SPHERES we also store your organizational role and company affiliation.
1.2 Usage Data
We automatically collect technical information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, browser type, operating system, IP address, and timestamps. This data helps us maintain performance, diagnose issues, and improve the product.
1.3 Content You Provide
Any content you create within the Service — such as ecosystem models, strategy definitions, engineering block configurations, team structures, prompts, and other project data — is stored on our infrastructure to provide and operate the Service on your behalf.
1.4 Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment credentials on our servers.
1.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session and remember your preferences (such as theme and layout settings). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- To process transactions and send related transactional communications (e.g., subscription confirmations, billing receipts).
- To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- To monitor and analyze usage trends to improve functionality, reliability, and user experience.
- To detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. What We Do Not Do With Your Information
We want to be explicit about what we will never do:
- No selling of data. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or content to third parties.
- No marketing to third parties. Your information will not be shared with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.
- No unsolicited marketing. We will not use your contact information to send promotional or marketing communications unless you have explicitly opted in. You may opt out at any time.
- No training on your data. Your content and project data are not used to train machine-learning models or AI systems outside of the Service features you explicitly invoke.
4. Third-Party Services and Sub-Processors
We rely on a limited set of third-party service providers to operate the Service, including cloud infrastructure (AWS), database hosting (Supabase), authentication providers, payment processing, and AI model providers (for features you explicitly use). These providers process data solely on our behalf and under contractual obligations that prohibit them from using your data for any purpose other than providing their service to us.
We do not share your personal information or content with any other third parties except when required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security reviews, and secure credential management. While no system is completely immune to risk, we are committed to safeguarding your information and promptly addressing any incidents.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, enforcing agreements). Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion. Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability. Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection / Restriction. Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@evolutionengineering.ai.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
